TOMYUM MAMA

Authentic Thai food!! Came here because I was craving for mama noodle, but I was surprised with two other dishes I ordered! 1. Claypot Tom yum mama noodle: love this! The taste is just right for me, plus point, you can adjust the spiciness & sour level! The meat was properly marinated and doesn’t have the “porky” taste. Comes with two fresh prawns as well! Only thing is I wish the noodle was less soggy, but that was just my own preference to have a “harder” texture for the noodle. 2. Mama fried chicken wing: we were recommended to try the non spicy one. But I accidentally ordered the level 1 spicy. To my surprise this was very very yummy! The fried chicken was still spicy even after mixing with the chilli sauce. Will definitely recommend for those who loves spicy food, come try the different levels of the fried chicken. I will definitely come back to try level 2 next! 3. Minced pork Basil rice: I love the rice bowl comes with onsen egg without charge and the egg was cooked perfectly without “breaking”! The wok hei for this is so strong I love it! Overall, definitely a good experience dining here. Been walking past this shop too many times without patronising and definitely did not regret trying it! Very friendly service as well. Will come back to try other dishes soon!

Stumbled upon this Thai restaurant by accident and honestly, zero regrets! The food tastes as delicious as it looks (not joking!) and don’t get me started on the service. Service was absolutely pleasant! The staffs were all so friendly and attentive. Definitely would travel all the way to dine here again and would recommend this place to my friends.

Wanton noodles were barely passable on the whole. Tasty enough with lard oil but the noodles were cold and slightly undercooked. I like my noodles al dente but this came cold and crunchy, not to mention, oily. Boiled wantons failed, fried wantons passable. Wanton filling marinate was heavy on pepper. The fried chicken pieces were alright, very crispy skin but otherwise nothing remarkable in its marinate. No hint of thai-ness, just loud crunchy skin. Forgot to take photos, but fingers were too oily to snap a pic anyway. Caught a baby cockroach on the chair too, so hygiene of this eatery is dubious. I came out fine but my dining partner had the runs later that evening so not sure what to make of it. Unlikely to return again. No Visa or MasterCard payment. Only cash and enets.

Craving for Thai mee and google show me this. First time trying this place on a weekday lunch time. Quite crowded with ppl. The uncle is always hardworking (i always see him outside asking ppl to try) to get people in and to ensure we are well seated. Good service. He shared the promotion of free ice tea. The place decently renovated. We ordered the signature claypot mee, no regrets, portion is good and taste well. Price is about SGD13. Can be subjective if price is reasonable coz is maggie mee. Overall i would recommend all to try.
